Summarized Problem
Grupo WOS (WOS Group) faced serious challenges in its IT infrastructure: outdated, scattered, and unreliable
servers, with no cloud usage, which compromised both security and scalability. Additionally, there were no proper backup or
contingency policies. Local and inefficient e-mail servers further hindered corporate communication. Given this situation,
and already trusting Visionnaire’s expertise from previous projects, Grupo WOS turned to the company to take
full responsibility for technical support and modernization of its infrastructure.
Summarized Solution
Visionnaire proposed a complete cloud-based technical support solution, covering the migration of Grupo WOS’s
systems and websites to secure, high-availability servers with continuous monitoring. The scope included a cloud datacenter,
migration of corporate e-mails with integrated backup, automated data and server backups, a cloud database service, and transactional
e-mail delivery. This approach ensured centralization, reliability, and operational efficiency for Grupo WOS’s technology
environment.
Results
Visionnaire
not only took over the support of multiple systems and websites not originally developed by the company, demonstrating its
full-service capability, meaning Visionnaire can both develop and maintain systems while meeting the specific needs of clients
of various industries and sizes.
With Visionnaire’s support, Grupo WOS achieved improved system and website availability,
reduced downtime and failures (thanks to monitoring systems and automated backups), enhanced security through certified cloud
providers and daily backups, and greater team productivity due to a stable infrastructure and specialized technical support.
This project strengthened the partnership between Visionnaire and Grupo WOS, establishing
an ongoing technological collaboration.
Technologies
Visionnaire has extensive know-how in Google Cloud, which is approximately 10% to 30% cheaper than Amazon Web
Services (AWS), and thus Google’s solution was recommended.
For e-mail server migration, Visionnaire suggested Zoho Mail, Google Workspace (formerly
Google Apps for Business), or Outlook in the Cloud (Azure).
For server and data backups, the use of Google Nearline or AWS Glacier was proposed,
with preference for Google Nearline due to lower cost and greater in-house expertise.
For cloud database services, Visionnaire recommended standard MySQL databases (already
used and open-source), implemented as manual installations on virtual machines, Google Cloud SQL, or Amazon RDS/Redshift,
with preference for Google Cloud SQL for compatibility, experience, and cost-effectiveness.
For transactional e-mail services, Mailgun, Sendgrid, or Mailjet were suggested, with
preference for Mailgun due to its Google Cloud Platform certification and free monthly e-mail volume.

Detailed Problem
Grupo WOS needed to migrate systems and websites to new servers in a secure, high-availability environment. Confident
in Visionnaire’s proven competence, the client entrusted the company with full infrastructure support responsibilities.
Key concerns included outdated and unreliable servers, lack of cloud infrastructure,
absence of centralized backup and contingency plans, low-performing e-mail servers, and the need for ongoing specialized technical
support.
Detailed Solution
Visionnaire provided a comprehensive cloud infrastructure support proposal, including migration, maintenance,
and continuous monitoring. The project also included centralized cloud hosting with redundancy and
monitoring, migration to a corporate e-mail server with integrated backup, automated backup of critical data and servers,
cloud-based databases for existing applications, and transactional e-mail delivery for automatic notifications and integrations.
