Oi Futuro needed a company that specializes in various technologies, duly qualified to provide mentoring
and consultancy in areas such as programming (Python, PHP and Java), development of solutions for mobile devices, experience/interface
design (UX/UI), architecture of data, Business Intelligence (BI) and information security to work in Oi Futuro's technology-based
social impact business acceleration program.
Solution
Visionnaire appointed a Project Manager/Mentor and a Business Intelligence Specialist/Consultant.
Both dedicated, in all, 540 hours of mentoring and consulting, distributed among selection board, technical team alignment
meetings and workshops.
The consultancy was within the context of the Labora + Sebrae project, an unprecedented partnership between Oi Futuro and Sebrae RJ to strengthen businesses that use technology to scale solutions with social impact.
Results
With the consultancy of the Project Manager/Mentor and the Specialist/Consultant, the startups part
of the technology-based social impact business acceleration program had all the necessary support to develop technologically.
All areas required by Oi Futuro (programming, development, UX/UI, data architecture, Business Intelligence and information
security) were covered by Visionnaire's specialists.

Visionnaire is a software factory with more than 26 years of experience, possessing knowledge
in processes and technologies for the development and maintenance of software systems in the most varied technologies, including
modern technologies aimed at mobile applications, web applications, Microsoft platforms, Unix/Linux and free software. We
always work with innovative technologies and follow the main technological trends in Silicon Valley.
Even though it is one of the pioneering companies in software development in Brazil, with more than 26 years of experience, Visionnaire is constantly technologically updated, currently also working with the technological platforms used by startups in Silicon Valley. Visionnaire participated in missions to Silicon Valley and has a startup acceleration process. In addition to software development services, we provide consulting, training and event promotion services, using our knowledge base to help startups develop technologically.
In this project, the main technologies used were Python, PHP, WordPress and Java, according to the demand of each startup. Regarding databases, solutions such as Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, MySQL, PostgreSQL and others were used, also varying according to the needs of each startup. Systems hosting needs were covered with solutions such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), GCP (Google Cloud Platform), Microsoft Azure and IBM cloud platforms (Bluemix and IBM Cloud).
The main process used by Visionnaire is Scrum, following the agile philosophy with the execution of sprints (which can be weekly or fortnightly), all of this with the intense use of tools in the cloud (for the part of the process itself, we heavily use the products of the Atlassian platform as well as the GitLab platform).
In recent years, the philosophy of agile development based on Scrum has gained a lot of adherence from companies around the world, and Visionnaire has been implementing this philosophy of agile development (Scrum) in its development process.
Detailed Problem
Oi Futuro is the name of Oi's innovation and creativity institute for social impact, which
for 20 years, through initiatives and partnerships throughout Brazil, has been acting as a laboratory for the creation of
transformative projects in the areas of Education and Culture.
Oi Futuro needed a company that specializes in various technologies, duly qualified to provide mentoring and consultancy in areas such as programming (Python, PHP and Java), development of solutions for mobile devices, experience/interface design (UX/UI), architecture of data, Business Intelligence (BI) and information security to work in Oi Futuro's technology-based social impact business acceleration program.
Oi Futuro's expectation was to serve many social impact startups, providing all the support for the development of the use of technology in the business. The program would have a specialist to act as a mentor, who should have project certifications (such as PMP/Scrum Master), in addition to specialists in the areas already mentioned to act as consultants to support startups in their technological development processes.
Detailed Solution
Visionnaire was the company selected for mentoring and technical consultancy applied to startups
in the program. The project was carried out in partnership with Sebrae-RJ.
A Project Manager/Mentor was appointed, responsible for contacting the Oi Futuro and Sebrae teams. Meetings were held, in addition to individualized assistance and a follow-up report for each of the various organizations involved.
The Specialist/Consultant in Business Intelligence dedicated himself to collective assistance, through workshops, with the ones involved in the project, in addition to individualized assistance and the production of a follow-up report for each organization involved.
In all, there were 540 hours of mentoring and consulting distributed among the selection panel (with face-to-face meetings), technical team alignment meetings (with the participation of the Visionnaire Mentor via videoconference) and workshops (with face-to-face activity of the business intelligence consultant).
Among the startups that received mentoring are Toti Diversidade, a Brazilian platform for teaching and including refugees and migrants in the technology job market; T&D Sustentável, which offers innovative solutions for managing and saving water; and Troca, a social impact business that aims to transform companies and people by increasing diversity in the spaces where it operates.
