Problem
FIEP needed to offer a way for all its employees, in the most diverse cities of Paraná, to communicate and integrate in an agile and effective way through an internal and external corporate extranet system.

Solution
With an attractive and cognitive visual communication, developed in partnership with the marketing department of FIEP, the external system in WebPublication became agile, effective, and easy to collaborate.

The solution is integrated with FIEP's internal systems, such as schedules, calendars, ERP, news from the FIEP system and meetings. The implementation of Single Sign-On via Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), which still works today, is a great differential and additional feature of this project, adding a lot of value and bringing a high gain in productivity for FIEP.

Results
By the end of the project, around 8,000 people in different cities were able to integrate via an intranet with a better flow of information and more productivity in the communication with employees by the board and between sectors and departments.

Technology
Among the technologies used are integration with other systems through Java (JEE) language, Windows Server operating system, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, WebSphere, XML, XSL, XSLT, JSP, Ajax/DWR, JQuery and Microsoft SQL Server database.

Visionnaire - FIEP

Detailed problem
FIEP (Federação das Indústrias do Estado do Paraná – Federation of Industries of the State of Paraná) had around 8,000 active employees in mid-2004 and needed to make everyone communicate and integrate through an internal and external corporate extranet system.

Therefore, Visionnaire and FIEP joined forces to implement a modern and agile extranet that would allow the publication of content from different areas, from several cities, and that would be integrated with the existing intranet.

Visionnaire already made available to FIEP its Content Management System (CMS) service for websites and portals on the internet, WebPublication, which allowed for quick and easy integration.

One of the great prerequisites of FIEP for this project was the Single Sign-On, a resource with which the employee would only login to the corporate system and automatically connect to the extranet, in addition to several other internal systems. All of this done via the Windows Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) service.

Detailed solution
The first phase of the project contemplated corporate information. Right after that came the second phase, which covered the development of a more modern, responsive design, and integration with FIEP's internal systems, such as schedules, calendars, ERP, news from the FIEP system and meetings.

A major and additional differential of the project, which added a lot of value, was the implementation of the Single Sign-On via Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), which works until today and brought a high gain in productivity for FIEP, in addition to a notable improvement in issues such as time and memory for employees using the system.

With an attractive and cognitive visual communication, developed in partnership with the marketing department of FIEP, the internal system became agile, effective, and easy to collaborate.
