Security problems in some systems available on the web that allowed intrusions, and the need to update some systems from the point of view of functionality, as well as security.
Solution
With the work of Visionnaire professionals, security problems were eliminated, knowledge was transferred to Electrolux, and updates to some systems were carried out quickly and productively.
Results
On the security side, with the help of Visionnaire professionals, it was possible to eliminate the problems that were allowing the hacking of systems, as well as transferring this knowledge to Electrolux. In terms of updates, some of the contracted systems were updated with the development and delivery done in an agile and productive way.
Technology
Security consultancy work was carried out in some stages. Work was done to recommend best practices with the creation of a software development guideline. The necessary updates were also made to the internal appliance sales systems for Electrolux employees across Latin America.
Among the technologies used are Microsoft .NET, ASP, Integration with EDEN (Electrolux database that stores images), HTML production, creation of dynamic pages, updating of the home page for links to developed projects and elimination of security flaws. Initial operation in two countries, Brazil and Chile.

Electrolux had the need to modernize the security of its systems that ran on the web. Some of them had been developed with technologies that had serious security flaws due to the technology used, flaws known for defects in the products of the infrastructure software manufacturers themselves, but which had not been updated in Electrolux systems. In addition, there was a need for system updates that ran at Electrolux.

Visionnaire worked together with Electrolux to specify the security flaws that the software platforms being used by the company presented and solved all security problems with knowledge transfer. To update some of the systems, Visionnaire professionals worked on the development, delivering updates on time and with productivity. A process of consultancy for good practices and best practice guidelines for software development was also carried out, mainly with a focus on security.
