Summarized Problem
Ecolab needed to rapidly expand its technological capabilities to support digital transformation projects in Latin America, especially in Brazil. With demands in Business Intelligence, Power Platform, automation, systems integration, and standardization of ERPs such as Oracle and SAP, the company sought partners specializing in IT outsourcing.

Summarized Solution
Visionnaire proposed to Ecolab an IT outsourcing solution based on the allocation of specialized professionals to support digital transformation projects, focusing on mid-level and senior professionals integrated into the company's teams or working in complete development cells.

Results
Visionnaire helped Ecolab accelerate its digital transformation, increase its IT operational capacity, and standardize corporate processes and technologies. The client was able to rapidly expand the delivery capacity of its technology department.

Visionnaire also contributed to accelerating Ecolab’s Business Intelligence and corporate automation initiatives using the Microsoft ecosystem. In summary, Ecolab improved data analysis and visualization; automated internal processes; integrated corporate information; increased the productivity of business areas; and created digital solutions more quickly and at scale.

The project supported by Visionnaire also contributed to systems integration; reduction of technological fragmentation; platform standardization; and support for the future ERP unification into Oracle and SAP.

From an operational perspective, Visionnaire proposed a structure based on agile methodologies, DevOps, and Cloud Computing. As a result, Ecolab achieved faster delivery speeds; shorter development cycles; continuous system improvements; reduced rework; increased technical quality; and greater predictability in project execution.

Since the model was based on hourly outsourcing and professional profiles, Ecolab was able to increase or reduce team sizes according to project demands, reducing operational risks and facilitating the rapid allocation of specialists for specific needs.

Technologies
PHP is one of the most widely used programming languages in web development, widely recognized for its flexibility, performance, and strong compatibility with servers and databases.

Laravel, in turn, is one of the most popular frameworks in the PHP ecosystem, created to accelerate and organize the development of modern applications by offering features such as MVC architecture (Model-View-Controller), security, authentication, APIs, task automation, and database integration.

Together, PHP and Laravel enable the creation of robust, scalable, and secure web systems with greater productivity, being widely used in corporate platforms, e-commerce, ERPs, APIs, and digital transformation applications.

Detailed Problem
Ecolab is a multinational company and a global leader in water, hygiene, and infection prevention solutions and services, operating in more than 170 countries and serving millions of customers in industries such as manufacturing, food, healthcare, hospitality, and energy.

This specific project started with Ecolab Mexico, which already had a system developed by another vendor but wanted a more dedicated partner closer to the company’s São Paulo office. This partner needed to quickly understand the codebase in order to continue the system’s evolution, with the main challenge being the PHP and Laravel technologies.

In this scenario, Ecolab faced a limitation in internal capacity to sustain its digital transformation projects and needed to rapidly expand its technology structure with specialized external partners. There were many projects underway in Latin America, especially in Brazil, but the company lacked sufficient resources to handle everything, requiring support in project management, development, and technical support.

At that time, the main demand was for professionals specialized in Business Intelligence and the Microsoft ecosystem, especially Power BI, Power Platform, Power Automate, SharePoint, PowerApps, SQL, and cloud solutions using agile methodologies. In addition, Ecolab was undergoing a complex scenario of systems integration and technological standardization, including different ERPs (Enterprise Resource Planning systems) operating in Brazil and other systems used in Europe, with plans to unify them mainly into Oracle and SAP.

The documents also show that the company was looking for official IT vendors to operate locally in Brazil and eventually in other Latin American countries, while respecting regional tax and operational requirements. Visionnaire was considered because it demonstrated experience in professional outsourcing, agile development, and corporate systems integration.

Initially, the need involved two projects, one expected to last around 6 months and another approximately 1 year, focused on Mid-level and Senior professionals specialized in Microsoft technologies. It was also necessary to quickly structure a supplier onboarding and integration process, including NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), quotations, and alignment with Brazilian procurement to accelerate the execution of these projects.

Detailed Solution
At first, Visionnaire went through an approval and qualification process in Argentina before formalizing the partnership in Brazil.

The solution proposed by Visionnaire for Ecolab was an Outsourcing model, meaning the allocation of specialized technology professionals to work on Ecolab’s digital transformation projects. The proposal was designed to provide on-demand technical resources, mainly Mid-level and Senior professionals capable of integrating into Ecolab teams or forming complete development and support squads.

A highly specialized professional was allocated close to the client in a flexible hybrid work format. Quickly, Visionnaire, through its experience and expertise, took control of the project.

The professional allocated by Visionnaire had capabilities exactly aligned with the needs identified during the initial meetings. In addition to providing manpower, Visionnaire presented a solution based on agile methodologies and DevOps. The proposal included the use of Scrum with weekly or biweekly sprints; cloud-based tools for project management; integration between development and operations (DevOps); Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD); and the use of microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Another important aspect of the solution was operational flexibility. Visionnaire made it clear that it could provide individual professionals (Project Managers, developers, support specialists, QA, DevOps); assemble complete teams; adapt its processes and tools to Ecolab’s environment; and work with both English-speaking professionals and local Portuguese-speaking teams.
