The Clube Curitibano is one of the most traditional clubs in Paraná, with more than 30,000 members, and enlisted the help of Visionnaire to unify its Internet presence

PROBLEM
Restructure and modernize the Internet presence, aligned with the marketing area and all communication and visual identity of the entity, including the magazine, Club TV, digital magazine and presence in social media.
SOLUTION
The new design identity of Clube Curitibano on the Internet was developed and implemented with the use of Visionnaire WebPublication. The work was also carried out with a strong partnership of the marketing and computer areas of the Club. The new site allowed all the visual communication of the club to follow the same identity, making at the time, the members could have another channel of interaction, the Internet.
RESULTS
With Visionnaire Web Publication it was possible to distribute content publishing across the areas of the Club. The project was deployed and ran for almost 5 years, when the Club held a new competition for advertising agencies and a new company won, using new PHP-based tools to continue the design of the site. Currently Clube Curitibano does not use WebPublication, but the design and much of the information architecture developed at the time remain the same.
TECHNOLOGY
The technologies used were those already implemented by the Club's computing area, since WebPublication operates independently of Operating System, Database and Application Server, being able to run in both Microsoft Windows environments and Linux-based free software environment .
For this project, the technologies were: Java (JEE), Linux operating system, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Apache Tomcat, Java Portlet Specification, XML, XSL, XSTL, JSP, Ajax / DWR, JQuery and MySQL free database software .
Detailed problem: Clube Curitibano is one of the most traditional social and cultural clubs in the city of Curitiba, founded in 1881. Today it has 5 venues and more than 30 thousand members that make up a large part of the opinion formators of Paraná. In 2009, the club's IT department needed to restructure its presence on the Internet, aligned with the marketing area and all communication and visual identity of the organization, including the magazine, Club TV, digital magazine and presence in social media, For this the Club had the partnership of a digital advertising agency and Visionnaire, who jointly developed and implemented the new presence of Clube Curitibano on the Internet, with a modern design and according to the new visual identity of the Club.
